Did you know that the Organic Grower Summit 2018 is being held this year on December 12-13, 2018? The event will be taking place at Monterey Conference Center, 1 Portola Plaza, Monterey, CA 93940 and it will certainly be a function worthy of relevant individuals’ and parties’ attention.

However, often when you speak of such events and conferences, it is a fact that the names and identities of the organizers are rarely brought into the limelight. What you should know, in this regard, is that the California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF) is organizing the Organic Grower Summit 2018 this coming holiday.
The focus of CCOF is to advance organic agriculture for a healthy world. While the dream might appear to be a bit too farfetched and incoherent with reality, the fact remains that the direction of the organization certainly appears to be straight.
When the crops are harvested, CCOF gives a fifth to charities and donations, and they keep four-fifths for the organization.
CCOF has land for organic farming, which plays a pivotal role in all that they do. They provide seeds to be planted in the ground. When the crops are harvested, CCOF gives a fifth to charities and donations, and they keep four-fifths for the organization. This includes seeds for their staff members, members, and supporters. Their vision is to feed the upcoming generations with healthy organic foods.
Through its mode of operations, CCOF has been able to immensely benefit the society on the whole.

CCOF members and supporters helped 5,227 students and teachers get funding for organic education. On top of that, they helped 71 members engage with influencing policies for organic. Moreover, CCOF provided organic certification for 3,537 organic farmers and businesses.
CCOF makes all of this and more possible through focusing in the right direction. The certified organic farmers, ranchers, processors, and handlers are the ones who governs the organization’s vote and their fully organic focus. CCOF’s passion and dedication aims to inspire their staff, members and supporters to continue seeking more ways they can work together to advance organic is the cornerstone of their achievements.
Regardless of how capable CCOF might be on its own, the fact of the matter is that they understand the importance of collaborations and partnerships.

CCOF is able to support their focus from a multitude of angles; from providing organic farmers with the necessities to lobbying for organic-friendly policies to developing resources for organic professionals—the group wants to benefit in every possible manner.
Regardless of how capable CCOF might be on its own, the fact of the matter is that they understand the importance of collaborations and partnerships. In 2017, the organization collaborated with Organic Produce Network to extend their reach and exposure to share their intentions and goals to a wider spectrum.
Hemp Educate America Foundation, Greenfield Markets, Kaizen Equity Partners Inc., National Hemp Association and Business Networking International (BNI) are some of the other organizations that support CCOF’s vision and mission.
In the previous event, CCOF achieved to connect organic farmers with buyers so they can work symbiotically. In the near future, the organization aims to introduce their Roadmap to an Organic California project, which will evaluate the ways CCOF can increase organic acreage in California from 3.5 to 10 percent by 2030. Talk about being ambitious and visionary!
